Wedding Packages

 Pricing is based on servings, flavor and design. Please provide this information for exact pricing. 

Custom cake pricing starts at $6.50/serving for signature flavors & $7.50/serving for premium flavors. 

 
There are upcharges for premium fillings if ordering a la cart, décor, florals, fondant accent pieces, and delivery/set up. Please inquire for more in depth pricing. 

Please note that we do not cover cakes in fondant. All of JStory Bakes' cakes are done with buttercream with possible fondant accent pieces when the design calls for it.

Traditional cupcakes start at $30 per dozen for signature flavors.

Premium flavored cupcakes start at $35 per dozen.

2 dozen minimum order is required for all cupcake orders.

All other bakery item pricing is listed on our menu.  

1-Payments: 

A  NON-REFUNDABLE retainer of 100% of total cost (if under $300) or 50% (if over $300)  is required to consider this an order and contract for the described services. The retainer reserves the date and covers the expenses and commitment I make to reserving your date. This payment must be made in order to secure the client's order. By submitting payment(s)/retainer/deposit, you are acknowledging JStory Bakes' terms and conditions as described below and is agreeing to them. All invoices are due upon receipt and invoices not paid within 3 days will be cancelled. Client will be notified of cancelled invoice.

The remaining balance will be due no later than one month (30 days) prior to the delivery date. If booking less than one month in advance, the full amount of the order total is due at the time of booking, regardless of order total. 

If final payment is not made on time, we reserve the right to cancel your order. JStory Bakes will send out reminders about any upcoming payment due dates. 

In the event that a new invoice is required after cancellation period, original rates are not guaranteed and client may be subject to a rush/late fee.

Wedding specific: There are sometimes unfortunate circumstances which can lead to the cancellation of a wedding. I am limited in the number of clients that I can take on for any given date. This means that I am committed to you and your order once you provide a retainer. If, for any reason, you need to cancel your order, you will forfeit the retainer.

All invoices will be sent to the Client via Square. All payments can be made via the link provided in the digital invoice through Square (online credit or debit card processing) or by cash. No other payment methods are accepted. JStory Bakes does not accept checks. A credit card processing fee does apply. 

2- Order Changes:

The date of your final payment is the final date of any changes of size, style, or flavors of the order. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

3. Cancellations:

In the event that JStory Bakes is forced to cancel an order, at no fault of the client, but at the fault of JStory Bakes, all payments will be refunded within 10 business days of cancellation. 

If JStory Bakes is forced to cancel due to unforeseeable circumstances such as a natural disaster, dangerous weather, or any other instances out of JStory Bakes control, no refund may be issued. Any money paid towards your order may be transferred to a future order. 

4- Rescheduling: 

Rescheduling of an order may be done ONLY if the new date is available and the request is not made any less than 1 month prior for weddings and large events and 2 weeks for all other events from date needed (exceptions may apply at the discretion of JStory Bakes). One complementary date change will be allowed, free of charge, if the schedule can allow for it. If a second (or more) date change is required, there will be an additional $50 fee per change. 

5- Delivery/ Pick Up:

Pick up/ Delivery date and time must be arranged 1 week in advance for standard orders and 2 weeks in advance for weddings or large events. Any changes to the pick up time or date must be discussed a minimum of 48 hours prior to the pick up/delivery date and time. 

Pick up date may not be changed without advanced notice and only may be done if JStory Bakes' schedule allows. If client does not arrive on time, without prior notice being given, JStory Bakes is not responsible for arranging an alternate pick up. If order is not picked up within 24 hours of the originally scheduled date and time, the client understands that they have forfeited their order and all monies paid.  

Delivery is REQUIRED for any cake 2 tier or larger. Delivery fee is based on mileage. Delivery fee is subject to change with the fluctuation of fuel costs.

An adult (18+) must be present to receive your order. 

If delivery cannot be made within 15 minutes of agreed upon scheduled time due to client tardiness, and additional fee of $2 per minute will be charged which must be paid immediately. If client is not available within 30 minutes after scheduled delivery time, order will be returned to JStory Bakes and it will become the client's responsibility to pick up or pay additionally for another delivery attempt. No refunds will be provided in this instance.

Client agrees that once the order has been delivered/picked up and transferred to the client, JStory Bakes is no longer responsible for the condition of the item. JStory Bakes is not liable for any damage that occurs after the order has been transferred to the Client or has been set up by JStory Bakes. Specific care instructions will be provided in order to ensure the safe transport, display and storage of the order, as well as the best methods for maintaining freshness. Please be sure to discuss transportation and cake display plans with JStory Bakes prior to pick up or delivery. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below. If these conditions are not met, JStory Bakes is not responsible for any damages that occur. If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up your order, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the order once it leaves our possession.

The Client agrees to provide clear directions to the desired delivery location and inform JStory Bakes of any adverse road conditions, detours, hazards and/or obstacles that may damage the finished product prior to the booking being secured.

6.  Florals/ Decor:

If fresh flowers will be provided by an outside vendor (NOT JSTORY BAKES), it is the responsibility of the florist to determine the safety of the flower when being used on an edible medium. If JStory Bakes provides the floral arrangement for the order, we guarantee food safe options. If an outside vendor is deemed responsible for any of the cake materials, such as flowers, toppers, or other décor, JStory Bakes is not held liable for any mishaps in relation to that outside vendor. If an outside vendor is being used, be sure to provide JStory Bakes with all contact information to ensure clear communication. JStory Bakes reserves the right to insist on installing all décor, including flowers, to the final product to ensure safety and that the desired aesthetic is maintained. Specific floral choices must be discussed with JStory Bakes in advance. 

7- Allergens:

Ingredients, facility, and machinery may come in contact with nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, wheat and/or soy products. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform JStory Bakes of ALL food allergies. If there is a food allergy, JStory Bakes promises to do our best to prevent any and all cross-contamination, but is not liable for any reactions to allergens. 

8- Design/ Inspiration/ reference photos:

All reference images provided are to be considered *inspiration only* for an original cake or cookie design. Your final product will not be an exact match the photos provided. JStory Bakes does not plagiarize or copy other artist's works. We do not guarantee design or color matching based on photos. If exact color matching is important, please provide a physical swatch. 

9- Please be informed that most of JStory Bakes' cakes do have support dowels inside of them. These supports can be potentially hazardous if your face is smashed into them. Please remove all decorative items prior to serving. We do not put supports or hazardous items in or on "Smash Cakes" intended for small children.  Although all fondant/sugar paste/sugar work is technically edible, eating it is not recommended. They may contain floral wire, toothpicks and other support mechanisms, making them potentially hazardous for consumption. Please keep these items away from small children as they may pose a choking hazard.

10-Refunds:

In the instance that a client is not happy with a finished product, the uneaten product must be returned to JStory Bakes with 24 hours of pick up or delivery in order for a refund to be considered. Refunds will not be considered without the product being returned within 24 hours of delivery.
